The Richard Goodman Strategic Planning Award

The Richard Goodman Award recognizes distinction in the practice of strategic planning. This award supports the broader purpose of the Association of Strategic Planning to enable individuals and organizations to succeed through strategic thinking, planning and action.

Sumner Alpert Scholarship

The Sumner Alpert Scholarship pays a full-time student's registration fee to the ASP Annual Conference. The scholarship is available to any full-time student with an interest in strategic management, planning, strategy, or a similar discipline or area of interest.

Chapter of the Year

The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes the chapter that contributed most significantly to the professional growth of its members during the previous program period of September to September.

Chapters seeking this recognition must nominate themselves, and must have been a chapter for at least six months of the program year covered by the award.

Distinguished Service Award

The ASP Distinguished Service Award recognizes an ASP member who has demonstrated dedicated service and an untiring commitment to furthering the development of the organization and its members through donated time, influential leadership and sustained service to ASP.

Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame Award recognizes one or more individuals for lifetime achievement in ASP and the profession. Any ASP member may nominate any other member.

Member of the Year

Outstanding Service to ASP

The award for Outstanding Service to ASP recognizes one or more individuals for extraordinary effort on a particular ASP project, initiative or committee. Any ASP member may nominate any other member.
