Caterpillar Financial Services won the Baldrige award in 2003. Their Strategic Planning process and Business Excellence Model were two key elements that contributed to this achievement.

Since that time, they have fine-tuned their approach into an integrated Strategy Development and Execution process (ISDE). This approach has integrated and aligned inputs such as their Annual Business Plan, top level balanced scorecard, Business Excellence Model and are in the process of deploying it throughout their organization. This allows for one seamless, online integrated process for Group & Department Action Plans, metrics, Business Risk Management, opportunities for improvement, 6 Sigma projects, Process Certification and other company initiatives.

Through this presentation, you will learn about their Business Excellence Model, and specifically their ISDE Strategy Development and Execution breakthrough process, as well as their current results and lessons learned.
