Strategic Planning: Lessons from Practice
Biography
Claudio Roveda is since 1982 Professor of Industrial Economics and Business
Administration at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, where he has (end of 1999) been
appointed President of the Centre for Technology Transfer. He is Vice President
(Research) of Fondazione Rosselli, a leading research institute in Italy, of
which he is also a founding member. His current main research fields are
foresight and strategic management of technology and innovation. He has
published more than 100 papers, mainly on international journals like
International Journal of Foresight and Innovation Policy, Journal of the
Operational Research Society, Management Science. He is currently policy advisor
to the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research and the Italian
Minister of Production Activities. He has been a consultant for large firms and
governmental bodies in Italy and abroad and in several foresight projects and
activities aimed at supporting and fostering the international competitiveness
of local firms in the long run.
