Biography
Leveraging market strategy to maximize cash flow and business value has become a
life's work for Rory. Since the 1980s he has helped his consulting clients,
leaders in Fortune 500 and mid-market businesses like Boots, Diagio, HP, IBM and
others, use the technique to deliver billions of dollars in value growth.
Rory co-founded Business Intelligence Associates with two partners in 2002, a
management consultancy explicitly focused on value-driven market strategies,
serving Consumer and Industrial Products clients. Previously, he was a Partner
in PricewaterhouseCoopers' (PwC) Business Strategy consulting business, where he
led the practice in Shareholder Value consulting in the US. Before joining PwC,
Rory was with consultants Marakon Associates, and prior to that, he held senior
positions with Thorn EMI and Thomson Consumer Electronics in Europe.
Rory earned his MBA in Strategy from the University of Chicago, and his BSc
(hons) in Electronic Engineering from the City University in London. He has
published many papers and speaks regularly on shareholder value creation, and
Products and Technology/Convergence markets.
