Strategic Planning & Action: Driving Growth from Change
Biography
William Malek is the Strategy Execution Officer for Strategy2Reality LLC and the
former program director for the Stanford Advanced Project Management program at
Stanford University.
With more than twenty five years of corporate experience in strategic planning,
management consulting and organizational development, William's passion in life
is and has been the study of strategy execution, organizational alignment and
how to lead a positive organization.
His mastery of effective complex strategic program planning techniques,
organizational design and strategic leadership required to accelerate enterprise
performance as well as his dynamic presence as a trainer and facilitator has
earned him an international reputation as a keynote speaker, workshop leader,
strategic consultant and author.
William has held executive positions such as CEO as well as facilitating Fortune
500 senior management teams and he has taught the award winning Stanford
leadership development courses such as "Converting Strategy into Action,"
"Designing Organizations for Execution" and "Leadership for Strategic
Execution." Some of his organizational learning and innovative thinking is
discussed in his new book called Executing Your Strategy: Break it Down Get it
Done published by the Harvard Business School Press, January 2008.
William holds an M.B.A. from Capella University and a B.S. in engineering from
the University of California-Santa Barbara. A few of his certifications include
a Stanford Certified Project Manager (SCPM), a Project Management Professional
(PMP®) and a New Product Development Professional (NPDP).
