Walgreen Experience: Mr. Zimmerman joined Walgreens in 1977 as an analyst in the Results department. He moved to Finance in 1984, was promoted to manager of strategic planning in Planning and Research in 1985, and became manager of Corporate Planning in 1990. Mr. Zimmerman became vice president of administration for Walgreens Health Services in 1991, was named divisional vice president of Walgreens Health Services in 2001, and became vice president and chief administration and finance officer of Walgreens Health Services in 2006. Mr. Zimmerman was named to his current position in 2011.

Prior Experience: Mr. Zimmerman was an analyst for Dun & Bradstreet in Chicago from 1973 to 1975, and assistant manager for Brookwood Country Club, Wood Dale, Illinois, from 1975 to 1977.

Education: Mr. Zimmerman received a B.S. in business from Eastern Illinois University in 1973, and an M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University in 1984.
